IT Commercial Lead
£43,860-£52,866 + benefits
Location: Hounslow (but currently remote)
We’re more than digital. We’re improving lives.
To give our communities outstanding services, we need high-performing, cost-effective digital and IT. As leader of our IT Commercial team, you’ll help develop a commercial mindset, making sure that our services deliver on value for money and that we have a clear approach to revenue management. You’ll build relationships with our partners and suppliers and work closely with both transformational and operational teams to put residents at the core of commercial decisions.
This is all about making the most of our valuable budget while ensuring we have the tech we need and you’ll be central to developing service costing and charging. You’ll also manage the IT asset lifecycle, building an efficient IT asset management service and asset register.
With a degree (or equivalent) in a commercial, financial or procurement-related area, you’ll be a capable IT leader. Having worked in a similar role, you have a good grasp of local government contracts, procurement and asset management, as well as costing and charging models. In return, we can offer the chance to be part of an inclusive team, within an incredible borough. Hounslow has green spaces, unique history, cosmopolitan hubs and fantastic transport links – in short, it’s unlike anywhere else. At the heart of all this is our council, offering flexible working, career development and a whole range of generous benefits.
Join us at the forefront of innovation and use your skills to make a positive impact.
Although we are currently working remotely, it is important that you will be able to travel to Hounslow when required after restrictions are lifted.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
